Patients still face a confusing, uneven system
For patients, the practical result of this incremental, multi-front reform effort is a system where the price of the same medication can vary enormously depending on insurance status, state of residence, and which specific pricing program happens to apply, leaving many patients navigating a genuinely confusing landscape even where meaningful savings programs technically exist.
